Description:

Silver-eared langhingthrush is a medium sized species in the langhighthrush group (about 26 cm). It has chestnut crown, blackish face with distinctive white eared, mostly plain olive-greyish body with prominent pale greyish to whitish scales in upper-breast and yellowish-olive fringing on wing- and tail-feathers. Male and female are similar.
