Trèo cây Himalaia – White tailed nuthatch, Fanxipan, 10/2019

Mô tả:

Trèo cây Himalaia có kích thước tương tự như các loài trèo cây khác (khoảng 12 cm). Chim có thân trên màu xanh da trời ánh tím, sọc đen lớn từ mắt đến vai, thân dưới màu đỏ hạt dẻ đậm và có một mảng trắng ở giữa lông bao đuôi trên (khó quan sát trên thực địa). Chim mái có thân dưới nhạt màu hơn.

Description:

White-tailed nuthatch has same size with other nuthatches (about 12 cm). It has violet-blue upperparts, broad black eyestrips to shoulder, deep reddish – chestnut underparts and white patch at base of central uppertail-feathers (difficult to see in field). The underparts of female is duller and paler.
