Mô tả:

Gõ kiến lùn đầu vàng là loài rất nhot trong nhóm gõ kiến lùn (khoảng 10 cm). Chim có mày và sọc dưới miệng trắng rộng, thân dưới trắng với nhiều chấm và sọc đen đậm, thân trên và cánh màu vàng olive. Chim trống có trán mầu đỏ nâu vảy đen trong khi trán chim mái chỉ màu xanh olive.

Description:

The speckled piculet is very small species in the piculet group (about 10 cm). It has a broad white supercilium and moustachial stripe, whitish underparts with bold blackish spots and bars, yellowish olive upperparts and wing. Male has rufous-buff forehead with blackish scales while female’s forehead is olive-green
